Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Plumber and Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificates from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Valid Alberta Journeyperson Plumber and Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificates recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training. Grade 12 or equivalent, supplemented by related technical courses. Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair as necessary. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to comprehend and utilize a computerized maintenance system. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Five years previous related Plumbing and Steamfitter experience in an industrial or institutional setting with a maintenance background is preferred. Preference will be given to those that possess a Gasfitter Ticket.
