Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program; or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of clinical experience with at least 5 years in 2 of the following areas of inpatient & outpatient areas of practice: Neurology, Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Medicine & Critical Care/ ICU. A defined leadership role in research, program development or a service delivery project within the last 12 months. Demonstrated ongoing professional development & education in leadership: completed courses related to leadership development, coaching, or mentoring. Demonstrated leadership experience in program planning, service delivery & quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to mediate conflict related to clinical practice. Demonstrated change leader & manager: has effectively led staff through transition, change & resistance. Ability to prepare presentations, & use software tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel. Microsoft Office Suite etc. Experience and competence with Connect Care.
Preferred Qualifications:8 years of direct patient care experience. Has had a clinical/ in-scope leadership role in an acute care (hospital) setting. Experience in educational program design & project management, delivery & measurement of outcomes. Completion of change management courses such as AHS Improvement Way (AIW) & Prosci.
