Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven critical analytical thinking skills are required, effective teaching skills, proven ability to effectively communicate; both written and verbally, excellent problem-solving skills, and computer skills are required. Minimum of three years’ experience working in the rehabilitation of adults with orthopedic conditions is required. Strong and effective leadership skills, organizational skills are required as well as conflict resolution/negotiation skills. The successful incumbent will be capable of performing lifts, transfers, repositioning, and other physically demanding activities associated with this role. Responsible to provide proof of active registration with the Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association (PACA) and to maintain registration throughout the duration of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in Physical Therapy, previous experience working in a tertiary rehabilitation setting, previous team leader experience in tertiary rehabilitation context. Connect Care proficiency is preferred.
