Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of experience in rehabilitation practice, with a minimum of 4 years working in community-based rehabilitation. Extensive knowledge of patient population needs, health care continuum, and leading practices in collaborative, interdisciplinary rehabilitation. Extensive knowledge of pre- and post-surgical care needs and practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills for a wide audience, with a genuine ability engage with patients over Zoom technology. Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop therapeutic relationships, navigate sensitive situations and demonstrate flexibility in work approach. Ability to create effective internal and external partnerships. Aptitude for performing in an environment of innovation, continuous change, and learning. Excellent clinical reasoning and decision-making skills. Expert presentation and written acumen skills. Expert technical and virtual service delivery skills. Initiative and ability to work independently in a virtual setting. Exceptional technical skills, including use of Zoom, web platforms, various software tools, Connect Care and data systems.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working on a virtual team is preferred. Technical aptitude is an asset.
