Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Active registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta (CPTA) is required and must be registered with CPTA for the Restricted Activity of Internal Exams. Heart and Stroke CPR (BLS-HCP) is required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the assessment and treatment of urogynecological conditions (including internal exams) is required. Completion of the "Intro to Pelvic Health Level 1" Part 1 and 2 course or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Level 2 Lower Extremity Orthopedics or equivalent courses for spine and lower extremity manual therapy and/or equivalent chronic pelvic pain courses are preferred; OR must be completed within first year of employment. Licensed in Acupuncture or IMS is an asset.
