Degree from an accredited physiotherapy program Current registration with the Physiotherapy Alberta-College
Additional Required Qualifications:Active Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. It's Your move patient handling certification. Minimum three (3) years within the last five (5) years in clinical experience in inpatient or outpatient acute care or rehabilitation setting. Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient acute care or rehabilitation area. Experience in the past twelve (12) months with referral triage and caseload management. Established relationships with relevant programs in the Central, Edmonton or Calgary Zones. Experience with virtual patient care (phone, Zoom, Telehealth). Experience working with TAs. Demonstrated ability to work within a patient-centred, interdisciplinary team of health care professionals. This position is physically demanding and requires repetitive lifting, twisting and transferring of patients (including bariatric) and or equipment. You may be required to sit for prolonged periods and perform keyboarding/ computer and headset use.
Preferred Qualifications:Min 2 years of oncology and/or palliative experience. Professional development in last year related to rehabilitation oncology. Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) Authorizer. Complete Decongestive Therapy, CLT certification or certification in Lymphedema Management including experience performing Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Effective self-management and time management skills paired with initiative. Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Netcare, Microsoft Office and EMR (EPIC, ARIA)
