Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years clinical experience as a physiotherapist (equivalent to 1.0FTE). New graduates who have had a recent adult neurological practicum may be considered. Minimum of 1-year recent experience (in past 3 years) working with adult clients who have functional impairments related to neurological diagnoses. Experience working with clients who are post-stroke and acquired brain injury and demonstrated knowledge of best practice in these areas. Demonstrated initiative in quality improvement and/or program development for patient care. Demonstrated ability to integrate new knowledge into clinical practice. Recent experience (in past 3 years) working on an interdisciplinary team in a community-based program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Current BLS certification
