Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years clinical experience in providing care to individuals and their families. BCLS-HCP required. Experience in orthopedic care. Must be able to use independent judgment and initiative to determine most appropriate treatment and setting. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Self-directed with effective communication, organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patients & families. Demonstrated flexibility and creativity. Demonstrated computer knowledge and skills.
Preferred Qualifications:2 years clinical experience in providing care to individuals and their families in a community / outpatient setting. Experience with complex chronic disease clients in a community setting. AADL Authorizer an asset. Pelvic floor physio experience and asset. Dry Needling / IMS certificate an asset. Knowledge and use of Health Change Methodology(R).
