Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Cardiac Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP). Additional required: As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate proficiency in: Interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with team members, including families and community partners. Self-direction, independent problem solving and decision-making, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic, fast paced environment. Integration of patient and family centered care principles in all areas of practice. Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, email, internet access and data entry. Physical ability to demonstrate/support clients with various movements/positions, support client transfers and lift/carry greater than 20lbs. Practice according to clinical practice standards and consistent with the Values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety.
Preferred Qualifications:3 years of recent pediatric experience. Demonstrated understanding of community services and resource. Knowledge of and/or use of an EMR.
