Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years recent experience working with neurological patients and patients with complex needs. Must possess strong assessment, communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated problem solving, planning and organization skills. Must demonstrate a strong patient/family-centered approach to care. Working knowledge of computer applications including word processing, email and internet access. Ability to be self-directed and to effectively work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Must possess a sound understanding of the community and the determinants of health. Strong assessment, critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree, Experience working in Connect Care is considered an asset. Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Experience supervising Therapy Assistants and students. Experience providing virtual assessment and treatment. Group facilitation skills preferred.
