Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 8 years’ experience providing frontline rehabilitation care in a variety of healthcare settings (e.g., acute, community, tertiary). Previous clinical experience in chronic pain management and working with patients living with chronic pain (minimum of 5 years in the past 8 years). Excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and utilize multiple electronic platforms concurrently. Virtual facilitation experience for groups of patients living with complex chronic conditions. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively liaise with various professionals. Ability to work confidently, independently and within collaborative partnerships. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Experience in fostering and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key partners within and outside of AHS. Ability to search out and evaluate evidence as required. Requires exceptional verbal, written and listening skills to comprehend, create and communicate concepts and options. Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:Facilitation training through Virtual Chronic Pain Program, Making Sense of Pain, Moving with Persistent Pain, or similar. Experience working on a virtual and/or geographically dispersed team. Experience with electronic charting (experience with Connect Care/Epic preferred).
