Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a recognized school is required. Experience with EPIC (Connect Care) is required. Demonstrated Leadership skills within last 2 years (team/area lead, master trainer, educator) Experience with Oracle/iProc is required. Minimum 3 years hospital pharmacy experience is required. Prepares and places orders with suppliers, other hospitals, and/or local retail pharmacies. Reconciles purchase orders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership with a pharmacy professional advocacy organization is preferred. Committed to continual personal quality improvement and lifelong learning. Demonstrated computer or word processing skills. Purchasing experience from a larger site is preferred.
