Responsibilities include checking and dispensing patient‑specific medication orders prepared by other Pharmacy team members. You may also prepare, check, and dispense compounds and repackaged medications, support procurement and inventory control, and complete best possible medication histories with patients. Mentoring others, training new staff, and precepting students are key aspects of the role, along with collaboration with pharmacists and interdisciplinary teams. You will uphold NAPRA and ACP standards, oversee delegated tasks, contribute to operational activities, and improvement initiatives. Strong verbal and written English communication skills are essential, along with professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate excels in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrates reliability, critical thinking, and adaptability, and is committed to confidentiality, accuracy, and effective teamwork. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively, follow instructions, and adapt to changing workflows and technologies. Physical requirements include visual acuity, keyboarding, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, extended standing, and walking. This role also involves handling hazardous medications using appropriate PPE.

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. You will receive and triage medication orders, compound and repackage medication and prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.
