Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Possesses comprehensive knowledge and experience in medication distribution and related legislation, regulations, procedures and technology, allowing complex problem solving. Experience with assessing and confirming accuracy of data in information systems, with extremely high attention to detail. Involved in data gathering and analysis and develops recommendations for improvement of services. Engages stakeholders in change process, understands impact on both internal and external stakeholders and manages risks and benefits. Participate in evaluating new ideas and explore creative solutions. Assesses problems, creates solutions where there are no procedures, guidelines or systems in place and implements them. Is a resource member for the project team. Minimum 5 years Pharmacy experience, in a range of production and distribution functions, project work, and pharmacy production technology and software projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project management and change management experience and/or certifications. Leadership experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.
