Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Understanding of NAPRA and compliance to sterile and non-sterile compounding. Recent experience in hospital pharmacy. Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal). Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to work in teams. Preferred Qualifications:

Recent SHC experience is an asset. Experience with BPMH in a clinical setting. Connect Care/Epic computer program experience. 2 years + experience and valid certification in sterile compounding & non-sterile compounding. Experience in chemotherapy. Checking of interim doses, cart fills, sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding. Experience and knowledge of automated dispensing cabinets. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization.
