Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Additional Required Qualifications:Candidates should have a strong desire to be in a leadership role. Candidates must have recent experience working in a hospital environment and be trained and proficient in all areas in the pharmacy. Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think systematically and critically to improve quality and engage others. Remain patient and calm when faced with multiple distractions and problems that may arise. Comfort with technology, and ability to learn new technological material quickly. Ability to promote the change process in a positive manner. Demonstrated ability to work both efficiently and accurately in a self-directed environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in planning, communication, facilitation, and coordination of projects or operational changes will be considered an asset. Current or previous work experience in a North Zone AHS pharmacy is an asset.
