Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience applying evidence-based medicine in direct patient care (minimum 2 years) required. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational and time management skills, including ability to switch priorities and multitask, required. Proven ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment required. Excellent skills using a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and pharmacy computer software required. Familiarity with areas of with SMART pumps and infusion pump dose error reduction software is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with pharmacy practice related to parenteral drugs, compounding, sterile product preparation and use of drug information resources is an asset. Completion of accredited Canadian hospital pharmacy residency, post-graduate residency program specializing in drug information or equivalent experience. Pharm D or advanced clinical training credentials. Recent experience in leading consultations with provincial working groups and committees preferred.
