Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Advanced Prescribing Authority (APA) is required (for new practitioners; must obtain within 6 months of commencing this position). A minimum of 6 months direct patient care experience in a hospital setting providing comprehensive medication management services in a collaborative care model. Experience with computerized medication order entry and word processing. A cover letter indicating the reason you are applying to PLC Pharmacy Services and a copy of your resume is required with all applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Completion of a Canadian accredited pharmacy residency program or advanced clinical pharmacy degree (e.g. PharmD). Project, research experience, or committee work. Recent experience with training & precepting. Active membership of a professional pharmacy organization (e.g. CSHP). Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Demonstrates critical thinking to solve problems & use evidence-based medicine in patient care. Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, & self-motivation.
