Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 Year Oncology experience required, preferentially at a tertiary center. Hospital pharmacy residency and/or prior hospital experience required. Recent direct patient care experience required (at least 1 year within the last 3 years). Experience with provision of pharmaceutical care in a multidisciplinary team preferred. Experience with computerized medication order entry, IV admixtures and drug distribution preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in the English language (both written and verbal) Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities desired. Demonstrates good time management skills including ability to switch priorities and multitask. Able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Demonstrates ability to use evidence-based medicine in direct patient care. - Demonstrates self-directed learning and continuing professional development - Advanced Prescribing Authority (APA) is an asset - Active membership in the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CaPhO) is recommended
