Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) is required (for new practitioners; must obtain within 6 months). A minimum of 6 months direct patient care experience in a multidisciplinary care team. A cover letter indicating the reason you are applying to SHC Pharmacy Services, and a copy of your resume is required with all applications. Candidates are advised that SHC Pharmacy Services provides 24/7 pharmacy services.
Preferred Qualifications:At least 6 months previous inpatient clinical experience in General Medicine or Cardiology. At least 6 months previous experience in ambulatory practice. Completion of a pharmacy residency program or advanced clinical degree/certification (e.g. PharmD). Authorization to administer drugs by injection. Active membership in a pharmacy professional organization (e.g. Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists). Project, research experience, or committee work. Prior experience training/precepting.
