Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to use computer medication order entry systems and able to access and proficiently use drug information resources. Ability to incorporate AHS organizational values into work, actions and decisions. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work with a wide variety of people in health care environment with professionalism and respect. Ability to effectively manage his or her time and setting priorities when faced with multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to provide a positive and friendly approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
Preferred Qualifications:Acute Care hospital experience delivering proactive, integrated clinical practice is preferred (at least 1 year within the last 3 years). Completion of an accredited hospital residency program preferred. Additional Prescribing Authorization is preferred.
