Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Fluency in the English language (both written and verbal). Computer literacy for drug information and word processing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Prescribing Authorization (APA) designation. Recent direct patient care experience (within past year). Recent experience in Ambulatory Pharmacy Practice (within past year). Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Strong decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP). Completion of an Accredited Canadian Hospital Pharmacy Residency. Completion of an advanced degree in pharmacy practice (PharmD/Masters). Authorization to administer drugs by injection. Experience working with anticoagulation management, chronic disease management, internal medicine, and/or home parenteral therapy/infectious disease clinics.
