Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or other healthcare related degree. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable college or licensing body. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C - Health Care Provider.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a healthcare organization of significant size and complexity. A demonstrated ability with decision making, coaching and leading change, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Experience with financial management and workforce planning. A record of accomplishment as an effective communicator, with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with building positive workforce culture, including a focus on physical and psychological safety, staff morale and engagement.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. Leadership experience in an acute care environment. Quality Improvement certification (i.e. AHS AIW Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent). Change Management certification (i.e. AHS PROSCI or equivalent). Completion of leadership development courses and a demonstrated pattern of professional development and growth.
