Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Journeyperson Painter Certificate from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience in an institutional or hospital setting. Must have 3 years painting various items like walls, furniture, while working both indoors and outdoors. Must have strong background in flooring repairs, installation of wallboard, patching and sanding techniques, installation of white rock products. Must have understanding of Infection Prevention Measures. (IPC) Must have hoarding installation and demolition experience. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods. Must be physically fit and be able to regularly lift 20kg to waist height daily. Must be able to walk distances as well push/pull equipment and carts. Must be able to work from heights and off ladders comfortably.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred to have basic computer skills using a Windows operating system.
