Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Occupational therapist in a large urban acute care hospital working with a variety of patient populations. Master’s degree in Occupational therapy or equivalent. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapy. Professional membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational therapy. Evidence of demonstrated leadership experience in strategic planning, leading change and evaluation. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Demonstrate knowledge and engagement in Occupational therapy related to best and leading practices, governance, legislation, ethics, current issues and trends. Demonstrated ability to guide and lead teams, build partnerships and foster effective relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:Change Management education/certification.
