Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of recent clinical OT experience with Children and Adolescents (and their families) who have complex presentations with associated cognitive, behavioral and developmental concerns. Must have experience working with neurological disorders and/or associated services. 2 years in formal diagnostic assessment and intervention with children and adolescents with mental health challenges and physical and/or developmental disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations from a Family-Centered Care perspective. Must have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in both a multi-disciplinary team and with community stakeholders. Must have demonstrated ability to work with high needs and often dysregulated family members who have experienced trauma and medical trauma. Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and self-sufficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of DSM-V diagnosis preferred. Brain Story Certification preferred. School-based experience preferred. Knowledge of community resources for clients and families preferred. Experience working with Neurodevelopmental disorders preferred. Experience working with Psychosis prefixation to professionals preferred.
