Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice, including hand therapy experience. A minimum of 6 months previous leadership experience in a clinical leader role (or equivalent). Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to navigate sensitive situations. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Aptitude for performing in an environment of continuous change and learning. Experience implementing and leading program development and/or quality improvement initiatives. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in the area(s) of hand therapy, complex MSK, rheumatology, and/or lower extremity amputations. Demonstrated participation in healthcare leadership development courses within the last 3 years. Demonstrated leadership in interprofessional practice: role clarification, conflict resolution, team functioning, collaborative leadership, and person, family and community centred care. Recent experience (in past 5 years) working on an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory/outpatient setting.
