Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of three years occupational therapy experience in a community mental health setting. Experience working in a case management model. Evidence of trauma-informed practice within your practice. Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage the demands of a busy clinic through demonstrated caseload management skills, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to work independently. Familiarity with the Recovery Framework. Previous experience and training in the delivery of DBT to individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. Knowledge and use of a variety of tools used to assess level of functioning in clients. Comfort with providing outreach/care in the community to clients. Group facilitation experience. NVCI. BLS - HCP. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
