Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Three years previous experience working in a community setting. Ability to conduct sensory and environmental assessments. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. By applying on this posting, if you are the successful candidate, you will transition to Recovery Alberta. In accordance with the transition letter of understanding with UNA, current employees under the UNA Collective Agreement who accept an employment offer, issued after July 1, 2024, will not have any rights under Article 15: Layoff and Recall.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an addiction and/or mental health setting with clients who have mental health and/or addiction issues, developmental disabilities issues is an asset. Certification as an Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) authorizer is preferred. Experience leading a team is preferred.
