Your Opportunity:
South Health Campus (SHC) is guided by four foundational pillars: Collaborative Practice, Wellness, Patient and Family-Centred Care, and Innovation. This 0.4 FTE Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) position is based in the SHC Hand Clinic, a fast-paced, client-centred environment that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence in care. Working within a primary therapist model and under the general supervision of the Allied Health Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment for patients referred to the outpatient Hand Clinic in accordance with professional practice standards. The ability to demonstrate accountability, collaborate effectively, and maintain a continuous learning mindset is essential. In addition to direct patient care, the role includes consultation and education within the Allied Health Department, as well as participation in program development initiatives. This position is physically demanding and requires repetitive lifting, prolonged postures, and transferring of patients and equipment. The caseload for all positions within the Allied Health department may be subject to change based on operational considerations.
