Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. A minimum of 1 year of current, relevant OT experience is required. AADL Authorizer Proficiency with Connect Care, Netcare, and Microsoft Office Suite to document, communicate, and manage client information effectively. The Occupational Therapist I may be required to maintain a standing position and perform up to a medium level of work (20–50 lbs. handled occasionally), including bending and rotation related to client transfers or therapeutic interventions. Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant OT experience in a community setting. Current knowledge and skill related to palliative care OT is preferred.
