Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children and youth 0-18 in a community setting. Basic Cardiac Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP). The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in: Interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with team members, including families and community partners. Self-direction, independent problem solving and decision-making, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic, fast paced environment. Integration of patient and family centered care principles in all areas of practice. Practice according to clinical practice standards and consistent with the Values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with: recent community pediatric experience, experience working with an EMR.
