Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:The OT is aware that this position covers children's services birth to 18 years (i.e., infant, toddler, school age). The work can take place in an AHS building, AHS clinic, home visits or other community sites (e.g., schools). Note that this posting shows late June start date, but this is negotiable (such as late summer, early fall). Consistent utilization of excellent interpersonal skills with clients and team showing collaboration and teamwork is required. Consistent excellence using positive, constructive and solution focused communication with clients and team is required. Consistent excellence using conflict resolution skills with clients and team is required.
Preferred Qualifications:OT licensing with no conditions is preferred (and new graduates are still very welcome to apply!). Pediatric experience is preferred (e.g., working with children before you obtained OT training or pediatric experience through placement/practicum).
