Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:BLS-C (Basic Rescuer) required or available for immediate training. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention required or available for immediate training. Minimum 3-5 years current clinical experience working with individuals who have mental health and addictions concerns. Experience working with individuals with Opioid Use Disorder Outpatient/community experience. Experience developing and facilitating groups.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care. Mindfulness about cultural and gender diversity and positive regard towards clients. Experience with multi-cultural recovery pathways. Knowledge of an Indigenous language & culture. Knowledge of systemic issues such as poverty and stigma. Knowledge of Mental Health Services Protection Act and Narcotic Transition Services regulations.
