Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within the past year) experience and knowledge in tertiary level pediatric feeding. Recent (within the past year) experience in chronic and sub-acute pediatric (0-5years) neurological conditions. Knowledge, skills and experience in complex pediatric feeding & swallowing. Knowledge and understanding of pediatric development and conditions. Knowledge and experience in rehabilitative service, and transition support. Knowledge of community resources and programs. Knowledge of tertiary rehabilitation service delivery. BCLS-HCP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge, skills and experience in conducting and interpreting instrumental swallowing evaluations. AADL authorization required for some services. Knowledge, skills and experience in splinting. Knowledge and experience in providing intervention with neurological conditions (e.g., FES, CIMT).
