Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

CPR Required – BLS for Health Care Providers Level C. You are physically capable of caring out the duties of this position. This physically demanding position requires the OT to physically assist patients in a variety of functional tasks. Complex moderate to severe brain injured patients may be very dependent for care at times. You are expected to manager behaviorally challenged patients. You will have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Greater than 6 months experience in working in neurology, with stroke and brain injured patients. Three years’ clinical experience in rehabilitation services using a client centered approach is preferred.
