Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention. Minimum of 3 years of relevant addiction and mental health experience, preferably in a community setting. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and seek consultation when necessary. Ability to ambulate, climb stairs, and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments. Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a vehicle in good working order for work related travel.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience and knowledge of the housing first, harm reduction philosophies of care. Demonstrated ability to work well with a range of community and agency stakeholders as well as clients and families.
