Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification required. 1 year or more of full time experience in an adult urban acute care medical or surgical unit setting as an Occupational Therapist within the past 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing Occupational Therapy (OT) support in the ED and/or ICU of an adult urban acute care/hospital setting within the past year. Experience supporting the multidisciplinary team with decision making and capacity issues in an acute care setting within the previous 2 years. 2 years or more of full-time experience in an adult urban acute care/hospital setting as an OT on an in-patient medical or surgical unit within the past 3 years. Experience in wound care services is an asset.
