Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Bachelor or Masters of Occupational Therapy degree required. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience providing frontline rehabilitation care in a variety of healthcare settings (e.g., acute, community, tertiary). Ability to manage a wide variety of clinical situations with varying levels of acuity and a heterogeneous population. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively liaise with various professionals. Ability to work confidently, independently and within collaborative partnerships. Ability to thoroughly and accurately collect and document information in a timely manner. Excellent computer skills essential, including working knowledge of Zoom, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and utilize multiple electronic platforms concurrently. Experience working in Electronic Medical Records. Prior community care experience (including assessment and provision of permanent equipment).
Preferred Qualifications:AADL authorizer including Level A seating benefits. Connect Care training. Experience in program evaluation.
