Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Evidence to practice both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience in an acute care setting (within the last 5 years). Ability to provide care across the lifespan. Practices trauma-informed, patient centered care approach. Current ACLS and PALS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Emergency Nurse Certification-ENC(c) or equivalent. Emergency Medicine Education: Adult EM Bootcamp/ Hippo Education or equivalent i.e. General Emergency Medicine Skills- GEMS. Pediatric experience. Previous rural and/or emergency nursing experience. Self-directed with strong. teamwork and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Familiarity with Connect Care is beneficial.
