Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Adult NP: provides health services to young, middle aged and older adults in generalized adult practice and/or specialty area(s) of practice. The NP has in-depth knowledge of adult acute and chronic illness and can work with complex clients. In some instances, an Adult NP may provide older adolescent care when the adolescent’s developmental age and/or lifestyle may more closely approximate that of an adult. Practice settings include, but are not limited to, critical care, acute care, continuing care and community / ambulatory settings. Must meet the physical demands of the position, including the demands of the clinical work and the driving demands of travelling to alternate sites from base site.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working within a continuing care setting and previous experience working with Connect Care. Certified Capacity Assessor.
