Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Pediatric care. NP clinical experience in Pediatric care within the last 5 years. Working knowledge of healthcare IT systems (Alberta Netcare, Connect Care), Desktop IT skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Demonstrates and communicates respect to all in the workplace, and engages with the team, patient, and families in acknowledging, addressing, and resolving conflict: Models excellence in Professional Practice by adhering to relevant provincial and federal legislation, CRNA Standards of Practice and Guidelines, and the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics as well as AHS organizational requirements; Identifies and practices within individual scope of practice and competency; Maintains clinical competency, including procedural skills relevant to practice; Displays and models professional behaviour that enacts AHS values; Demonstrates stewardship of health resources balancing patient and health system outcomes; Models patient and Family Centered Care Principles.
