Completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Program. Active or eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current ACLS and Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
NP experience in ICU or acute care setting. Min. 5 years ICU experience as a RN. CNCC(C) ® Certified Nurse in Critical Care (C)Canada. Experience with the development and/or implementation of research and/or evidence-based practice. AHS AIW and/or AHS PROSCI certification (or equivalent). Completion of leadership related courses/ progressive nursing leadership experience within last 3 years. Demonstrated continuing professional practice competency through professional development activities.
