Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of Master’s degree academic preparation. Registration with CRNA and licensed to work with all ages population. Minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in a primary health care, community health nursing, northern nursing and/or ambulatory care nursing, with an emphasis on primary care services. Current BCLS for Healthcare Provider and Standard Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification at the Provider Level C.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in using computers. Ability to Identify, appraise, and apply research, practice guidelines, and current best practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Ability to maintain highly confidential information.


Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in ECG, lab and other diagnostic results preferred. Knowledge of and ability to use Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Netcare and ConnectCare would be an asset.
