As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. As a NMT I, you will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.
Description:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current CT and Contrast Media Enhanced practice designation with ACMDTT. Current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:CTIC Certification preferred. Minimum of two years clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine. Minimum of one years’ experience in Nuclear Cardiology imaging procedures including MUGA, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, and Myocardial Viability. Minimum of one years’ experience in Cardiac/Coronary CT angiography. High level understanding of HIS/RIS and PACS Systems. High level understanding of Connect Care clinical application.
