Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for ensuring that his/her registration is current and valid. A minimum of 2 years current level III NICU experience required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider. Commitment to Alberta Health Services Vision, Mission, Core Values and Goals

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with surgical neonates. Previous experience working with neonates requiring neurological critical care interventions. Microsoft Office Suite knowledge. Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS). Experience with the development and/or implementation of evidence based practice. Experience with program development. Quality Improvement certification (i.e. Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent). Change Management certification (i.e. PROSCI or equivalent).
