Description:
As a Music Therapist, you will assess, evaluate, develop and document clinical goals in consultation with patients, families and other members of the interdisciplinary team. You will address patient- and family-centred needs within cognitive, communicative, emotional, musical, physical, social and spiritual domains. As a Music Therapist, you will use a variety of evidence-based interventions which may include education, singing, playing instruments, movement to music, improvisation, composition, songwriting, imagery and music, and listening. You will function in adherence to the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Completion of a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy. Active or eligible for full accredited membership (MTA) in the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT). A member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care pediatric setting working with Children 0-17years of age. Minimum 1 year of experience working in emergency department setting. Familiar and able to complete/conduct group programming.
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
