Required Qualifications:

Completion of a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy. Active or eligible for full accredited membership (MTA) in the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT). A member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience of working with children and families, with preference for healthcare settings and children with medical and/or developmental needs. Experience facilitating groups. Knowledge of child development. Education/experience supporting patients & families: adjustment to diagnosis, medical compliance and grief & loss. Member of Canadian Association of Music Therapists.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum two years' experience working in pediatric hospital– within inter-disciplinary team acute &tertiary pediatrics & complex populations. Master Of Music Therapy. Connect Care trained. Experience supervising music therapy interns.
