Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology; or master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; or master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; or master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology; or master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; or master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; or master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Consideration will also be given to Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (including Psychiatric Nursing) including training in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy or, considerable experience in mental health assessment and treatment Active registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health experience. A minimum of 3 years direct crisis experience, preferably in a community setting. Formal clinical training in triage, intervention, stabilization and case management skills, preferably in a community setting.. Extensive knowledge of the resources of Addiction and Mental Health and the community. Connect Care experience recommended.
