Required Qualifications:

Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health and addiction experience, with preference given to community settings. Strong skills with crisis intervention, assessment and relationship building. Experience in providing psychosocial interventions. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-HCP) is required. A vehicle and willingness to transport clients to appointments (as needed) is required. Extensive knowledge of community resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent communication and self-management skills. Flexibility, openness, and a desire to be a strong team player. If registered with the ACSW, preference will be given to those with authorization to perform restricted psychosocial interventions.
